Behind the Flowers
Meet the face behind the flowers!
Welcome! My name is Lauren , I am the gardener, florist, teacher, and owner of Coalesce studio. I am first and foremost a gardener, as all of my designs are informed by my time (literally) in the gardens.
I strive to grow most of what I arrange and source the rest from local farmers. I am inspired by English cottage and country gardens, their romance, structured formality mixed with untamed nature. Like my arrangements, English gardens are designed to look natural and meandering but are carefully curated.
Mission
My mission is to do right in my little corner of the world. I hope to help change the way people move with flowers in the same way fashion has worked to change the way people consume its products. I believe the 'slow flowers' movement is more than that and is a reminder of being more present with the natural world.
How do I aim to do that? No floral foam. Using vintage or repurposed vessels. SLOW flowers, grown locally. My other equally important mission? To make you and your loved ones feel as special as possible through one of a kind hand picked and grown floral arrangements.
Vision
A world where we treasure flowers as they're meant to be, for a brief moment, reminding us to be present, in their season, from the garden, in a special vase that you'll want to keep forever.
